A Message From The Supervisor:
As we finally get a break from the constant rain and torrential storm last weekend, I want to acknowledge the incredible work of our City’s first responders, Department of Emergency and Department of Public Work crews, who are still working around the city removing debris. I also appreciate everyone who contacted my office and 311 to report fallen trees and infrastructure issues, especially the significant power outages that District 11 experienced - specifically the Mission Terrace area.
My team and I were working closely throughout the storms with DEM and PG&E to ensure that power outages were adequately reported and restored as promptly as possible. It is not lost on me that the Mission Terrace is disproportionately impacted by power outages and I am committed to staying in constant contact with PG&E to get answers and solutions.
If you need to report a fallen or damaged tree in need of removal, contact 311 or contact my office for support. Â
If you experienced an electrical outage exceeding 48 hours, PG&E’s Storm Inconvenience Payment Program will pay residential customers $25 to $100 automatically within 60 to 120 days after the outage. This is an automatic credit; no action is required.
If you experience another outage, please visit PG&E.com for the most up-to-date information. Lastly, stay prepared. Sign up for AlertSF to receive emergency text alerts by texting your zip code to 888-777 . Â
