Today, Mayor Breed announced that Sunday Streets will resume in 2021. We are making great leaps in ending the COVID-19 pandemic and getting back to our new normal. In the next few weeks, we are slated to open community vaccination sites. This newsletter will inform you of the locations for these sites once they go live and how you can sign up.
Lastly, in other exciting news, the Board of Supervisors pursuant to File No. 210192, Established a new “Youth, Young Adults, and Families Committee” that I am serving on as Vice Chair. Children and family issues continue to be one of my top priorities. Our first inaugural meeting will be on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 10:00am. This committee will cover a broader scope of Youth and Young Adult and Families issues than was previously covered in the Joint City, School District, and City College Select Committee.
In closing, my office continues to be open and my staff respective to any and all constituent issues. Please note - if you miss my weekly newsletter, you may find it later on the Board of Supervisor’s website. Click HERE to read past newsletters.
