Since taking office, our City Attorney, David Chiu, has had the chance to discuss how his office has been taking on the opioid industry, winning major settlements for workers, standing up for reproductive health care, protecting consumers, enforcing city codes in our neighborhoods, and defending San Francisco laws – while also receiving feedback about new areas of concern to focus on.
City Attorney Chiu plans to visit each supervisorial district and engage with every neighborhood in the city, I am pleased District 1 is his first stop. I hope you can join us both on February 15th:
Where: Richmond Recreation Center, 251 18th Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94121
When: 6pm, Wednesday, February 15th
Who: City Attorney David Chiu, Supervisor Connie Chan, SFPD Richmond Station Captain Canning, and others
I appreciate the Richmond Neighborhood Center, Golden Gate Senior Services - Richmond Senior Center, Self-Help for the Elderly, Balboa Village Merchants Association and others for partnering on this event.
San Francisco faces significant challenges, from addressing homelessness and housing affordability, to improving public safety and revitalizing our economy. I hope you take this opportunity to let our City Attorney and my office know what are the top priorities for you in our District.
