San Francisco's Chinese New Year Parade is the civic pride of our city, and it was such an honor to finally join the parade as an elected official! I was joined by my family in celebrating the return of the parade, after a long two years of having to celebrate the Chinese New Year virtually. Gong Hay Fat Choy!

COVID Updates & Resources
As of February 16, 2022, San Francisco and most of the counties in the Bay Area aligned with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to drop indoor masking requirements for vaccinated individuals in certain settings.
Unvaccinated individuals ages 2 and older will continue to be required to wear masks in all indoor public settings.
Continuing to mask in indoor public settings, especially crowded or poorly ventilated spaces, remains the safest choice for an individual and protects those who are medically vulnerable or are not able to get vaccinated, like our youngest children.
Indoor masking is still required by the State for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, in public transportation, health care settings, congregate settings like correctional facilities and homeless shelters, long-term care facilities, and in K-12 schools and childcare settings.

Thank you, Noise Records, for hosting another great Lunar New Year celebration!
Met with Pickle Ball lovers at Rossi Playground and learned a lot about this very inclusive sport. I'm committed to supporting them to have the dedicated space in our parks so they can get out and play!
I had the honor of recognizing Marria Evbuoma, our District 1 representative on the SF Public Utilities Commission Citizens Advisory Committee, for Black History Month. Marria is an inspiration to many, fighting for environmental and social justice.

Installation of temporary high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes is planned for as soon as early March on Park Presidio and will take a few weeks to complete. After installation is complete on both segments, an evaluation will be performed to collect technical data and feedback from the community.
