Two speakers spoke briefly on the Mayor's state of emergency concerning the extremely low weather temperatures. One speaker identified himself as a homeless parent and requested the Mayor give another $45,000 for the homeless program. He spoke of unsanitary conditions at some of the shelters. One speaker suggested the City purchase an old hotel and renovate it for use by homeless persons with families. |
